Paris 2024 Olympics officially known as the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad, will be held in France City Paris, from 26 July 2024 to 11 August 2024.

The Paris Summer Olympics Game 2024 featured 329 events in 32 sports, encompassing a total of 48 disciplines. Traditional sports like athletics, swimming, boxing, and gymnastics other games have been hosted.

About 10,500 athletes from more than 200 countries take part in the Paris 2024 Olympics. The event will showcase a fair lineup with the same number of competitions for both men and women, keeping the momentum going for gender equality in the Olympics.
Total India Athletes Participate in the 2024 Summer Olympics
This year, a total of 117 Indians took part in the Olympics, which included 110 athletes and 7 alternates. Along with them, there were 118 support staff and 22 officials. Gagan Narang was named the Chef de Mission, while Shiva Keshavan served as the deputy head. P. V. Sindhu and Sharath Kamal were picked to carry the flag during the opening ceremony of Paris 2024.

Indian athletes competed in 69 medal events across 16 sports, such as archery, athletics, badminton, boxing, equestrian, golf, hockey, judo, rowing, sailing, shooting, swimming, table tennis, and tennis.

Indian Medal Winner in Paris Olympics 2024
During the Paris 2024 Olympics, India achieved a remarkable haul of six medals, including one silver and five bronze. Neeraj Chopra, the standout javelin thrower from India, clinched the silver medal with an impressive throw of 89.45 meters, building on his success from the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
