Eligibility Criteria for EdCIL Mental Health Counsellors Recruitment 2025
Post Name: Career and Mental Health Counsellors
- Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 30,000 per month
- Minimum Qualification:
- M.Sc. in Psychology / MA in Psychology / Bachelor’s in Psychology (Compulsory)
- Diploma in Career Guidance and Counselling (Desirable)
- Experience: Minimum 2.5 years of counseling experience in a relevant field
- Proficiency: Mandatory proficiency in Telugu Language
- Age Limit: Not more than 40 years as of 31st December 2024
EdCIL Vacancy 2025 Job Description
- Career Counseling:
- Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students to explore career aspirations, academic interests, and personal strengths.
- Engage with parents and teachers to provide career counseling services and encourage their involvement.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and community organizations to ensure a holistic approach to career development.
- Mental Health Counseling:
- Provide individual counseling for students facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and stress.
- Conduct workshops and seminars on mental health awareness, coping strategies, and emotional regulation for students and staff.
- Coordinate with the principal and parents to observe local conditions and environments in rural areas.
General Instructions for EdCIL Recruitment 2025

- Eligibility: Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply. Candidates must have strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other computer skills.
- Selection Process: The selection will be based on academic qualifications, experience, and may include a writing skills test and interview. Documents supporting qualifications, experience, and age must be produced when called for the test/interview.
- Contract Details: The initial contract is valid until April 30, 2025, with possible renewal for the academic period from July 2025 to April 2026.
